Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!??

This weekend, Ammon and I were able to enjoy the company of our dear friends Katie & Rylee. We went to dinner, followed by some FOOTBALL! All 4 of us LOVE sports, so it works out quite nicely. Utah didn't play as well as we would have hoped, but they came out with a win! We're excited to go to more games this season. When Katie & Rylee got to our house, they came equipped with a gift for us! How nice of them! They got us all of our favorite treats, and two sweeeeet Utes glasses! Of course it came packaged professionally by Katie, and she even drew the Utes logo, with the feathers and everything! Ammon wanted to make a Utah shrine out of the glasses, but then decided he couldn't wait to use them. Thanks Katie & Rylee, for being great friends, and for the thoughtful gift!

Enjoying half time.

How cute are we in our Red & White?

This is what Katie and Rylee brought us... you can't see the glasses very well I just noticed! Sorry!

Nothing Like an Old Friend...

Here's some pictures from my friend Mindy's wedding. She got married in the Rexburg temple on September 6, and Ammon and I were able to go up early and spend the night at my dear friend Sara's (and her fun husband Daris) house! We had a ball! We went to dinner and ate lots of delicious Mexican food, and then enjoyed the evening at their cute house. We talked, Daris told some funny stories, we listened to Sara share her piano/voice/writing talents with us and I had such a good time. Sara is a TRUE friend, and one could ask for a better one than her. I love her dearly and wish that we lived closer together so we could enjoy each other more often. I have made some great friends since I left high school, but there is nothing like spending time with a friend that you have known and loved your whole life!

It was so fun to see the whole crew together again after so long! I miss them!

A Labor day full of labor

Our Labor day was full of labor for two reasons:
# 1) Labor day was an exciting day! Ammon and I are an aunt and uncle again! My sister in law Renee had a baby boy on Monday morning at 10am. He is a sweet little bundle with lots of dark hair! His name will be Camden Tyler Cranney (not sure if Camden is with an E or an O yet...) He was 7 lbs 4 oz and 17 days early! I am sad however, than I wasn't able to go see him in the hospital, because I've been there within hours after their other two babies were born. SAD! Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait my turn.
# 2) Ammon and I got a table from his aunt and uncle that they were getting rid of. It was kind of beat up and it was forest green (NOT our favorite color) so we decided we would fix it up and refinish it! What a task! First of all, neither of us had really done anything like this before so thank heavens we have a handy-man brother in law Matt that helped us out and told us what to do. We sanded everything down to get the scratches out, stripped the stain off the table top and chairs, and repainted and stained/lacquered everything. We worked hard all day and ran out of time and paint. So yesterday I came home from work and finished the painting, and Ammon finished the second coat today. YAY! We now have a kitchen table. We are excited, and quite proud of our little labor day project!
I'll post pictures when we get everything dried and set up so check back soon!
