Youth Conference/Fishing/Idaho reception/

Some June updates...

In mid June I went with the Young Women to Youth Conference at Snow College.  It was a great experience. We had lots of fun.  We spent a lot of time outside playing games, water fighting, and we were able to attend the Manti Temple and perform baptisms for the dead.  I enjoy working with the youth, and it was neat to hear their testimonies and realize how strong they are, and what great examples they are to me.

 After Youth Conference, I drove home and then Ammon and I drove to Oakley late that night so we could be home for a fishing excursion the boys were going on the next day.  It was a successful fishing trip!

After Ammon got home from fishing, we went to Anna and Logan's Idaho reception.  It was lots of fun, and we are so happy for them!

Manti temple/Anna's wedding

June 7 we attended the Manti temple when Anna received her endowment. The next day, we were able to attend her sealing in the Salt Lake City temple.  We are so happy for her and Logan!

Books and reading

Gavin suddenly decided he liked books and he liked being read to.  He has his favorites:  

He's learning all the animal sounds, but is favorite is to say "ROAR!!"  He chases Bo around the house and Roars at him.  It's so funny!

Sickness= Blankies + Cuddling

Gavin and I both got sick in April, and it was absolutely no fun.  Ear infections, viruses, and pink eye. Not. Fun.  However, due to the sickness, Gavin didn't have enough energy to fight the cuddling, so he would cuddle and sleep on Ammon and I. It was so sweet/sad.  He also developed a love for blankets! He loves them and will lay on my shoulder if I put a soft blanket there for him. I LOVE IT!  Here's proof:
