I'm playing catch up. Again. :) Here's so far this month:
This past weekend we were able to travel to Rigby and Newdale Idaho to visit my good friends Sara (Daris), and Mindy (Irven & Braylee). We have been friends since we were little. Anyway, we shared a lot of memories throughout elementary and high school. We were able to attend each others weddings and now we get to share memories as we have our own kids (not me just yet). Mindy just had a baby girl last month, and Sara will have a little boy in June. It was so fun to get together and laugh and be silly and catch up. I miss those two. I have lots of good friends, but these two have been with me longer than others. I wish that we were able to live closer and see each other more often. Despite those wishes, our time together was great. Thanks to our three husbands who were sweet enough to just roll with things to let us enjoy each others' company. Mindy's birthday was on Saturday so we went to dinner to celebrate.

We had such a good time catching up. It was nice to be in my home state for a few days too. It will always be home to us. As we were making the 4 1/2 hour trek, it brought back lots of memories as we drove through Pocatello. My first two years of college were at Idaho State. I had a great time there. I made some of my life-long friends and learned a lot. Memories of living in the dorms and staying up until all hours of the night, running so hard at track practice that I'd throw up, going on lots of dates, having "O.C. Night" with my girls (you've got to remember that show right?) all the while learning how to be somewhat independent and learning little at a time who I was.
I enjoyed the trip down memory road.

how fun ali! now that you got 4 1/2 hours down, you can drive 8 more and come see us!!! only head the other direction! :)
Mindy looks great and that baby is adorable. I hope I look that good! maybe just tell me i look good k?... That would be great thanks tons!
